MRAC Next Step Grant
I am so honored and excited to be a 2012 recipient of the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council's Next Step Grant. My project entails "Funding to research, create, and document a body of large-scale paintings based on vintage carousel animals and traditional carousel vignette paintings." (AKA: ROAD TRIP!!!) I will be traveling all over the U.S. to visit carousels and the project will culminate with a solo exhibition at the soon to open, brand spankin' new, Public Functionary gallery in NE Minneapolis.

Raining Cats & Dogs!

I painted 5 big murals a the new prAna store in Edina, Minnesota.

Forage Modern Workshop, Minneapolis
A bunch of my paintings and drawings are currently on display at Forage Modern Workshop on East Lake Street in Minneapolis.
The shop features all kinds of vintage/mid-century modern goods and furniture and well as handmade, artisan and local items. Parka, a new restaurant, is also opening soon in the adjoining space. If you are in the Twin Cities you just have to check out this cool new shop.
